Nutricap

I'm not sure if anyone has heard about this, but there is this capsule called Nutricap. By taking two every day at breakfast, your hair will build strength, shine, and volume. I know there are shampoos and conditioners that say they strengthen and add volume to your hair, but Nutricap is probably the best way to go. Seriously, it's the real McCoy. A study was conducted on people that take Nutricap, and hair was 76% stronger, 71% shinier, there was 91 % less breakage, 71% more volume, and even nails were 94% stronger too! Nutricap also promotes healthy hair growth as you can see. Nutricap is good for you if you have hair on the thin side, if it's flat, lifeless, or dull looking. Or, if your hair is on the thick side, or if it's dull-looking, take fish oil capsules. They natural-looking shine to your hair, and they improve the softness and look of your skin because of the Omega 3 in it. My mom is a naturopathic doctor and she introduced them to me.

An Idea For People With Combination Skin :)

Hey girls and/or guys with combination skin! I actually found out that combination skin is considered normal. Interesting, eh? I know, the eh is a dead give-away, as you are now notified that I am Canadian. Anyways, back on topic. I found out a cool trick for your skin type. Every night, when you moisturize after cleansing your face, apply a rich cream that is too greasy for daytime use on your cheeks. This area is usually drier than the rest of the face. In the morning when you wake up, your face will have a really nice glow to it. I've been doing that for a few nights now, and it works! The dryness on my cheeks is going away and my cheeks are so much softer now. Also, imperfections on my cheeks are visibly smoothed and improved.

Here's a rich cream that I recommend from Nivea for your cheeks :D

Carmindy's New Book; The 5 Minute Face (For makeup lovers, beginners, etc.)

I'm sure you've heard about the show What Not To Wear on TLC. I love the show, and my favourite part is probably when Carmindy comes in to do the makeup. Now, you can get her tips in her new book, The 5 Minute Face, which includes skin essentials to help keep your skin it's best, the right powders and foundations, cool makeup looks, makeup for your age and skin tone, how to get the perfect brows, and the famed 5 minute face, a well known makeup routine by Carmindy. You can get this book from Chapters, Coles, Indigo, or wherever books are sold. I have the book myself, and let me tell you, it is awesome, trust me.

My Favourite Mascara

My favourite mascara has to be Great Lash. It doesn't clump, it's waterproof, and your lashes look naturally longer. I have it in Soft Black and it's waterproof :)

Spectro Jel Cleanser for Combination Skin

I would like to introduce Spectro Jel Cleanser for combination skin. It is fragrance, alcohol, and soap free! Simple, yet effective. It is gentle, and doesn't have any harsh ingredients. It helps keep your skin's natural moisture barrier, and leaves your skin clean, healthy looking, and shine free. The other three cleansers are for sensitive (blue bottle; Spectro Derm), oily(green bottle), and problem prone skin (purple bottle);

Here's a video link for the Spectro Jel Cleanser for combination skin from someone that actually uses it; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hf7y0bJuya4

Cetaphil (Good Product For People With Some of the Most Sesitive Skin!)

Hey everyone! For people with super sensitive skin, I reccommend using Cetaphil products! They are specially made (with you in mind!) to meet your skin's needs. If you've tried other lines such as Clean and Clear, Neutrogena, etc. but none of that stuff works for you, Cetaphil may just be the one!

Neutrogena Visibly Clear 2 in 1 Wash/Mask

Hey all! Yesterday I picked up some this Neutrogena Visibly Clear Facial Wash. I used this a very long time ago, and found it once again at my drugstore. It helps prevent occasional blemishes and breakouts. You can either use it as a wash, or a mask for your face. I prefer to use it as a wash, but it's up to you. If you want a really deep clean, use it as a mask, once a week, for five minutes. As a mask it deep cleanses and conditions the skin.

Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets; Complex 15 Moisturizer

Just today, when I was at Loblaws, I picked up this little package of Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets. Only $6. 79 or $6.99, something like that. That is considered cheap, I guess. I also picked up a moisturizer that was only $7.99! It's called Complex 15 Daily Face Cream. It's Hypo-Allergenic, Unscented, Non-Greasy Formula, and Non-Comedogenic. Complex 15 is created by dermatologists. It is also oil free and Lanolin free. I picked it up, because I'm running low on my Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer. It's gotten kind of pricy where I buy it (Something like $21.99, and $23.99 for the one with SPF15!), so I got Complex 15. I tried it, and it works just as well as the Aveeno. The Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets work great too! Today was a scorching day, and I spent alot of time outside. Afterwards, I used one of the sheets, and it removed the oil off my face. My skin looked perfectly even from using it! You can throw the Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets in your bookbag and take them to school, work, travelling, very handy! I highly recommend Clean and Clear Oil Absorbing Sheets, and Complex 15 Daily Face Cream for anyone that's looking for a facial moisturizer and/or oil-absorbing products.

Shampoos and Conditioner For Thick Curly Hair

Hey,
I'm sure there's a few people out there with this hair texture. It's totally cool! Gorgeous, thick curls sometimes need special attention. Here are some shampoos and/or conditioners that I recommend for your beautiful, bouncy curls;

Sunsilk Anti Poof Shampoo
**This shampoo makes your hair silky and soft

Herbal Essences None of Your Frizzness Shampoo and Conditioner
**Smoothes hair and tames frizz

Acne Control Kit From Clean&Clear

Acne Control Kit is one of Clean and Clear's newest products. And surprisingly, it works really well. It's even better then Rodan&Fields Proactiv. Plus, you don't have to spend alot of money on the Acne Control Kit. No offense, but with Proactiv, you have to call, then wait for the stuff to be shipped out, pay the shipping costs and taxes. Then when you run out of the stuff, you have to buy more, and do it all over again. That gets pretty expensive. With the Acne Control Kit, you can just go to your drugstore and buy more if you need more of it. The kit includes a cleanser, facial moisturizer, and a facial serum.

Problem; Do You Have Fine Hair; Greasy Roots Dry Ends?

Do you have fine hair that tends to get greasy in the roots, but is dry on the ends? This shampoo by Garnier works great. It re-balances moisture, and leaves you hair soft and shiny from roots to tips. It's called Balanced Care.

A Breakthrough in Cosmetics; Organic Makeup

Yes, it's true! Physicians Formula has brought a new line of cosmetics called, Organic Wear. It's eco-friendly, and completely organic! This line is 100% free of synthetic preservatives, harsh chemicals, parabens, and synthetic fragrances, AND is 100% cruelty free! So, for any animal lovers out there, this line of cosmetics is just for you! The set includes pressed and loose powder, tinted moisturizer with SPF 15, a liquid bronzer, a powder blush, concealer, and a powder bronzer. They all contain organically natural ingredients, such as jobjoba seed oil, sunflower oil, and lavender essential oil.

Favourite Nail Polish?

My favourite nail polish? It would have to be OPI. They have awesome jewel toned colours, that stand out, no matter what your style.

Neutrogena Wave

I'm sure you've all heard of this product from Neutrogena. You've seen the commercial with Vanessa Hudgens, You've seen the advertisements. I'll tell you why it's worth the $14-$15 that it costs.
The package includes, the Wave itself, a free double A or triple A battery, and 14 single-dose cleansing pads. (When you run out of cleansing pads, you can buy more, 30 refill cleansing pads in all).
The gentle vibrations massage skin and open pores to help remove more dirt, oil, and makeup than doing ordinary cleansing. Apparently, after one use, skin is visibly softer, smoother skin.

People Are Buzzing About Clean&Clear SOFT, Steam- The In-Shower Facial

It seems like alot of people are going on about Clean&Clear SOFT in-shower facial. I can imagine, I use this myself. If you love the spa, but can't afford a facial, this product is just for you!
Use it 1-3 times a week in the shower. Leave it on for one minute, to let it exfoliate and detoxify, all the things a facial would do. Then, when the minute is up, massage your face with your hands. Rinse off, and voila, beautiful soft skin!
So what if you can't get that $6o facial from the spa? Pick up this product from Clean&Clear, it's a heck of a lot more affordable (US; about $6, CAN; about $10), plus you don't have to run to the spa every week or so.

Skin We All Envy

I'm sure we're all familiar with Liv Tyler, the actress whose skin is flawless and glowing without any makeup. Her skin is absolutely SUBLIME.

Skin Beauty Basics (What You Should Use), Collections That are Available

To get healthy skin, it's important to have a good moisturizer and cleanser. I suggest using a cleanser and moisturizer that are hypoallergenic, even if your skin isn't sensitive, you can never be too sure. Make sure the moisturizer is oil-free. It doesn't leave your skin all oily after putting it on. Cleanse and moisturize twice a day. Don't be lazy and skip a couple of days from cleansing and/or moisturizing. Another thing, make sure you drink 6 to 8 glasses of water per day. I know, you hear it all the time, but it's true. Water helps replenish and flush away the toxins and bacteria in the skin. You also get water from eating fruits and vegetables like pears, celery, apples. Celery is basically water based, and it's good for your digestive system.
You know the myth, if you have chocolate, you'll get zits? Not true. It's actually the caffiene in some chocolates that make pimples show up. If you drink coffee, or like to eat anything with caffiene on a daily basis, chances are that may be contributing to pimples. So, please try to avoid caffiene as much as possible. It's hard, but it will do you good in the long run.
For healthy, glowing skin, make sure you include lots of fruits and vegetables into your diet, don't smoke, protect your skin with sunscreen before going outside, have a skin regime that works for you, and get a good amount of sleep each night.
Here are some collections from Clean&Clear that I reccommend using(My favourite product :P)

Clean&Clear SOFT Collection includes:
-Purifying Cleanser
-Day Moisturizer with SPF 15
-Night Moisturizer
-In-Shower Facial
**This line of skin products makes your skin supersoft, healthy, and protected

Clean&Clear Morning Burst Collection includes:
-Morning Burst Facial Cleanser
-Morning Burst Facial Scrub
-Morning Glow Moisturizer with SPF 15
-Morning Glow Eye Brightening Cream
**This stuff really does wake you up! You feel and look energized after using the scrub or cleanser

Clean&Clear Advantage Acne Control Kit includes:
-Acne Control Cleanser
-Acne Control Moisturizer
-Acne Control Spot Treatment
**This stuff works really well. In One day 100% of people had clearer skin, AND it works faster than proactiv.

Do's and Don'ts For Dry Hair

I used to be a long time sufferer of dry hair. Dry hair is usually frizzy, lacks moisture, and is dry from the roots to the tips of hair. Dry hair usually means dammaged hair. Using the blow dryer, curling iron, straightening iron, and over-styling hair can make it all dry and frizzy. Also, colouring your hair often can put it into this state. Here are do's and don'ts to treat your dry hair.
DO use moisturizing shampoos and conditioners, a must for dry hair
DO use a leave in conditioner once a week (tip: after putting the conditioner in your hair, lightly pin it up and put a shower cap on over top. It creates more heat and activates the conditioner to make it work even better)
DON'T use the blow dryer after every time you wash your hair. Let hair air dry as often as possible after washing it (tip: limit yourself to using the blow dryer or other styling tools, like the curling iron or straightener for special occasions)
Here are some products I reccommend for dry hair

L'Oreal Vive Pro Colour Vive Shampoo and Conditioner

**This shampoo and conditioner works great on dry, coloured hair. Dual action UV Filters and Anti-Oxidants replenish porous hair shafts with moisture for healthier that keep colour longer

L'Oreal Vive Pro Nutri Gloss Conditioner

**I use this conditioner, and it leaves my hair feeling super soft and shiny. Nutri Gloss Conditioning Treatment with Pearl-protein complex adds shine and nourishes medium to long hair that's damaged. Each lifeless lock is infused with moisture that conditions without weighing down. Damaged hair is transformed into vibrant and healthy looking and shines from root to tip.

Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo, Sleek and Shine
**Sleek and Shine gives sleek, smooth, manageable hair. Withstands 80% humidity
